FORMER York City favourite Paul Barnes (pictured above) has joined Nationwide Conference outfit Nuneaton Borough on loan from Second Division Bury.
The 33-year-old was poised to make his Conference debut today when Kingstonian visited Manor Park.
Barnes, who moved from Bootham Crescent to Birmingham in March 1996 for £350,000, scored 85 goals in 178 starts for City.
Two of those goals came in City's 3-0 Coca Cola Cup victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford in 1995.
City supporters are being invited to submit questions in advance of next week's fans' forum at Joseph Rowntree School on Thursday, April 5, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Although questions will be taken on the night supporters who cannot attend or live away from York can e-mail their questions to public relations officer Sophie McGill at sophie.mcgill@ycfc.net.
Questions can also be faxed to the club on 01904 631457 or posted to McGill at York City, Bootham Crescent, York YO30 7AQ, by Monday.
Questions submitted anonymously will not be considered.
