Scarborough player-manager Neil Thompson looks likely to select himself for tonight's trip to Kingstonian in the wake of teenager Ashley Lyth's dream £100,000 move to Premiership Leicester City.
Enthused Thompson: "Ashley's move is great for the club and him and he has set a standard for the other youth trainees and the boys at the School of Excellence.
"He has shown that you can make it to the Premiership from Scarborough and that is a priceless carrot dangling in front of them all, so it's up to them how big a bite they want of it."
Thompson is also contemplating other changes to the side which beat Forest Green.
Striker Darren Stamp, who joined the club on deadline day on loan from Third Division promotion-chasers Scunthorpe United, is likely to make his debut in attack while ex-York City midfielder Scott Jordan has been pencilled in for his start.
"Darren is a big lad with an eye for goal and he could start alongside Cherif Diallo," added Thompson.
Jordan impressed when linking up with Jason Blunt and Gareth Stoker in a reserve match last week.
"It's certainly something I'm thinking of and it may well be that David Pounder is on the bench, but he is a young player who has played in over 30 games this season and that is a lot more than we expected - but that's good news for us."
Boro: from Woods, Atkinson, Rennison, Thompson, Ellender, Brunton, Stoker, Blunt, Jordan, Diallo, Stamp, Pounder, Newton, Morris, Piercewright, Burt.
