York Badminton League's management committee has decided to extend the season to May 15, writes Paul Hobman.

The season was scheduled to end on April 30 but now teams will have an extra two weeks to fulfill fixtures that may have been changed due to the winter floods.

Clubs are reminded about the rule that states 'all matches must be played'. The league will not allow any club to concede fixtures.
