I FEEL so sorry for Sophie the Countess of Wessex - her only 'crime' was to be rather nave - and I think all this media hype has gone overboard.
I blame the tabloid newspaper and the stupid idiot who dressed up as a Sheikh.
They are the ones to blame. Unfortunately, the 'firm' at Buckingham Palace have done exactly what they want to Sophie - as they did to Diana. Good gracious me, it is 2001 not the Middle Ages.
