The next bash organised to raise cash for York Wasps' stalwart Alan Pallister's testimonial fund will be held tomorrow after Wasps' home game with Workington.

And organisers are hoping the event will give fans the chance to meet some of the new Wasps players.

The testimonial committee have teamed up with New Earswick All Blacks to stage a race night at the amateur club's White Rose Avenue ground.

Organiser Ann Wright said: "It's a chance for all fans to enjoy themselves, maybe meet some of the new players and give some money to Pally."

The bar will be open all afternoon and throughout the evening.

The Wasps have been on the end of some pretty heavy defeats this season.

So just how did the worst of the lot, the 98-0 reverse at Rochdale, go down in history?

It was the biggest so far since the NFP began in 1999, and the third biggest ever in a league match.
