Racing fans will have to act super-quickly to make sure they don't miss out on the chance to own a share in the 'people's racehorse'.

Readers were this month offered the chance to own a stake in our racehorse, Evening Press, which is being leased off trainer Tim Etherington, who runs the stables at Wold House, Norton.

And with punters quickly snapping up most of the shares, only a few now remain available.

As reported in the Evening Press, the filly, who turns two years old next month, is set to race this season and early indications have shown she could have an exciting future in the sport of kings.

If you don't want to miss out on the action you'll need to act now.

Full details of the horse's excellent pedigree and how to join were published in the Evening Press on Thursday, April 5.

The Evening Press Racing Partnership is being organised by racing promoter Paul Clarkson, who already runs successful partnerships with other regional newspapers, including the Evening Press' Newsquest stable-mate The Northern Echo.

It is possible for a group of people to own one share, which cost £65 each per month and it is possible for any person or syndicate to have more than one share. The first payments start at the end of this month and the final payments will be on November 1.
