Detectives investigating an indecent assault on a teenage girl in a village near York today renewed their appeal for information.
The 17-year-old girl was knocked to the floor by a masked man before the attack which took place last week in Strensall.
No arrests have yet been made but detectives are determined to find the attacker.
Detective Constable Manzoor Mohammed, of York CID, said the girl was still recovering from her ordeal and urged anyone with any information to get in touch, in confidence if necessary.
The girl was walking along Westpit Lane at around midnight last Thursday when a masked attacker shoulder-barged her to the ground before carrying out the indecent assault.
She girl was uninjured but extremely distressed by the incident.
The attacker is described as white, in his late teens or early 20s, 5ft 2in to 5ft 6in tall and stocky.
He was wearing a white hooded jacket, blue jeans and had a scarf over his face.
