Britannia have retained the York Unique Darts League title. Shepherds took an early 2-0 advantage in their encounter with the champions, with excellent wins from Mick Wilsden (16) and Paul Botterill, who registered a maximum 180 score. Britannia fought back to level the match at 3-3, Ray McInally including a good 17-dart leg and a 180 score. Britannia dug deep and won the remaining pairs encounters to run out 8-3 victors. Chas Ramsden and Chris Thompson also hit maximum 180 scores, taking the match tally to four.

Britannia travelled to Burton Stone and showed their strength with an 11-0 victory. Chris Thompson (16), Ray McInally (17) and Martyn Turner (180 for 21) played well in the singles and McInally (180) and Turner registered an outstanding 20 dart, 701 pairs game.

The race for the runners-up spot is between Shepherds and Dringhouses. Shepherds came away from Punch Bowl with a good 9-2 victory. Mick Wilsden (17) was again in excellent form and he was well supported by Paul Botterill, Chas Ramsden and Mark Jones.

Dringhouses have gone level on points with Shepherds, thanks to an 11-0 whitewash over Sun Inn and an 8-3 defeat of Burton Stone. Mick Coupland (17) gave Dringhouses the best possible start before Burton rallied to take a 3-2 lead. A 19-dart leg from John Mooring levelled the scores, inspiring Dringhouses to take all the pairs games.

Punch Bowl remain fourth after recording an 8-3 victory over Holgate WMC.

Tap & Spile have moved up a couple of spots thanks to a 9-2 defeat of Sun Inn and a 7-4 victory over Holgate WMC. Darren Bailey and Stu Ogilvy clinching a final leg decider.

Beeswing went down 6-3 to Cygnet 'C' in York John Smith's Mixed League, but Jim Hawksby brilliantly finished on 116 for 15 darts.

Huntington 'B' team's 6-3 at Burton Stone included a splendid 17 darts from Pete Leake, while Huntington 'A' had Angie Hields completing 100 in two for a fine 23 darts.

Cygnet 'A' pipped Golden Slipper 'B'. Dave Gibbons, shooting out on 110, took the decider with Lyn Thompson.

Steve Parkinson partnered Annette Smallwood to clinch Leeman's decider at Bumper.
