A BANDAGED demonstrator helped General Election campaigners make a point about New Labour's health policies outside York District Hospital today.
The mummified socialist was a supporter of the Socialist Alliance candidate for York, Frank Ormston, whose point was "New Labour - bound by profit".
The campaigners then went on to gather signatures on petitions around York.
But Labour candidate Hugh Bayley said: "Labour launched a ten-year programme to rebuild the NHS and we've already produced a new heart unit, kidney dialysis unit, endoscopy and accident and emergency units at the hospital as well as a direct walk-in centre."
