A STUDY of the winning export ways of a Pocklington firm earned schoolgirl Caroline Dale an all-expenses-paid day out to London.
Caroline won the day out as her prize in the Institute of Directors' Export Award Scheme.
She impressed judges with her study of the export strategy of Phosyn plc, which formulates, manufactures and markets crop nutrition products in Pocklington.
Caroline joined representatives of Yorkshire Bank, the main sponsors and the IoD Yorkshire region for a busy day in the capital.
It included attending the IoD annual convention at the Royal Albert Hall, where Caroline heard top speakers, including Greg Dyke, director general of the BBC and Lord Haskins, from Northern Foods. She also toured the Houses of Parliament.
She rounded the day off with an evening at the Institute of Directors' annual dinner at Pall Mall.
