BOOMING business at natural pig product specialist, ProVet UK, has prompted the 18-month old company to move from Helperthorpe, near Malton, to a larger 10,000 sq ft complex on the Pocklington industrial estate.
The two-storey building is equipped with three laboratories, including one for analytical microbiology.
A manufacturing plant used to make high-quality human health products will also be used to blend milk and colostrum products to provide antibodies for farm animals.
It is the latest stage in a rapid expansion for the company, which now employs 15 people in the UK plus 16 more in new offices recently established in Brazil and Holland. It is also actively pursuing other world markets, including Japan, Thailand and the Phillippines.
