French drummers hanging from a giant human mobile high above Parliament Street brought the BBC Music Live's weekend in York to a spectacular end.
Crowds gathered to gaze up at the seven suspended percussionists, who were joined on the mobile by an agile trapeze artist.
The group are called Transe Express and their Mobile Homme show involved the mobile being swung from a giant crane.
The members started off by mingling with the crowds, showing off their drumming skills, before being lifted slowly into the air.
The BBC Music Live weekend, based in York, Leeds and Bradford, ran for five days and involved about 300 main events in the three cities as well as many other musical performances.
