IN response to your article about Helen John standing as candidate for Sedgefield against Prime Minister Tony Blair (May 26), it is my understanding that when you are a guest of Her Majesty's Prison Service you lose your right to vote let alone stand as a candidate for parliament.
If this is not so, when can we expect to have the lunatics running the asylum?
