York Wasps finally got their man today in the shape of former Leeds Rhinos Wembley hero Leroy Rivett.
The 1999 Lance Todd Trophy winner first spoke to the Wasps in April but instead opted for another crack at Super League with Warrington Wolves.
The move has not worked out for the 24-year-old winger and the Wasps moved quickly after his loan spell ended yesterday.
He signed on the dotted line at chairman John Stabler's Leeds office today and will go straight into the team to face Sheffield Eagles on Sunday.
In a further boost to the Wasps, ex-Bradford Bulls prop Neil Harmon could be on his way back to York.
He asked to be released by the Wasps last week to return to Super League with London Broncos.
But Stabler today revealed that deal has fallen through.
Harmon is now talking to another unnamed club but if that comes to nothing he could return to Huntington Stadium for the rest of the season.
