ON May 14 or 15 someone took a little red acer (maple) tree in a dark green plastic pot from my small front garden.
It was about 4ft high, slender and violets grew in a pot around it.
My mother gave me the tree as a tiny seedling from her garden some years ago. She is now blind and too frail to go outside or look after plants any more.
Sadly, there was only one year when the parent tree produced any seedlings.
If you have my tree or you know where it is, please put it back in my garden or let me know where I can find it. It means a great deal to me. I can't replace it.
