GNER is brightening up stations with its very own unique variety of white rose.
Five hundred specially-cultivated rose bushes are being planted at stations served by GNER's prestigious White Rose service.
The Great North Eastern Rose was specially created for GNER and was officially launched at this year's Chelsea Flower Show.
The rose celebrates the success of the White Rose service since its launch, a year ago.
"The White Rose service has proved to be a tremendous success. It has already carried over quarter of a million passengers and has helped to reduce overcrowding on our busy London to Scotland services," said GNER's chief operating officer Jonathan Metcalfe.
The GNER White Rose service operates eight services a day, using two modern, high-speed trains, leased from Eurostar.
The rose bushes will be in full bloom this summer, growing in average to 3ft tall.
