INL Club 'A' team are top of York and District Summer Handicap Snooker League division one after beating Pack of Cards 'B' 4-0 in the first week of the season.
There are twelve teams in the league, divided into two division. The Cueball Club are sponsoring division one and Around The Clock Glazing are sponsoring division two.
Cueball are in second place in division one after starting the season with a 3-1 win over Geriatrics. Burnholme drew 2-2 with Pack of Cards 'A'.
In division two, Railway Institute beat York's Finest 3-1, Haxby WMC beat INL 'Z' 3-1 and Ebor beat Norwich Union 3-1.
Burnholme beat Ebor 3-2 in the preliminary round of the Team Knockout Competition, sponsored by Scorfield Builders, Pete Musson beating Tim Hart on the black ball of the extra frame after the teams were level 2-2.
Haxby beat INL 'Z' 4-0, INL 'A' beat Railway Institute 2-1, and Norwich Union beat Cueball 3-1.
