THE three main political parties have hardly mentioned pensioners in their manifestos. All we ask is to be treated not less well than asylum seekers and illegal immigrants who are paid in cash or kind per week, £150 for a single person and £210 for a couple
Those over 50 should vote tactically. Unfortunately, apart from the three main parties, there are four other candidates. To be effective pensioners must not split their vote between these four. I suggest pensioners should support the Green Party, as having genuinely worthy aims.
The 'grey vote' is likely to be 25 per cent so we have plenty of power if we use it wisely.
