A STAKEHOLDERS pension breakfast seminar is being organised by the York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce at the Monkbar Hotel, York, on Thursday. Roland Harris, chief executive of the Chamber said that many businesses were still unaware of the legislation which decrees that by October all businesses employing five or more staff must provide access to their pension arrangements. Failure to comply could result in fines of up to £5,000.
The seminar is free to the Chamber's 600 members but some places are available to non-members. For more information contact the Chamber at 01904 629513.
