A young man who was arrested in connection with the abduction of a five-year-old girl in a York alleyway has been released on bail pending a file being passed to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The girl was carried into a garage on Tuesday and locked inside after being approached by a man in the alleyway, which runs parallel with Trafalgar Street, South Bank. The girl did not suffer any physical injuries.
