HAS anyone noticed the state of the grass surrounding our city walls? It has looked like a jungle for months now.
I am told it is council policy to cut it once a year. I thought it was council policy to encourage tourism, and for many tourists, this will be the first thing they see of York. Would it be too much for the city councillors to dig deep into their precious expenses and allowances fund to cover an essential such as this?
