CHILDREN enjoyed the sunshine at the annual teddy bears' picnic held by the Headlands after-school club in Haxby.
The annual event is organised by the club which is based behind the primary school.
This year it was also something of a celebration for the club, which has just opened a new breakfast club in response to parent demand for it to expand its services.
Organisers also hope to run a holiday club, using cash they have gained from the National Lottery.
