A PUBLIC inquiry into plans to improve a dangerous junction on the A64 at Bilbrough Top will take place on September 12.
The inquiry, which will examine plans to replace the existing gaps in the central reservation with a £3.9m flyover, will take place in the conference hall of Askham Bryan College, near York, starting at 10am.
It will be held by a government inspector who will hear objections from any people and authorities not in favour of the scheme. Anyone with an alternative proposal must inform the Highways Agency by August 17.
