THE explanations Christian Vassie gives for the most heinous terrorist act in the history of the world are pitiful (September 13). Would he have felt the same way if it had been carried out on this country, maybe Wheldrake?
The USA is high on the list of benefactors and have never hesitated to help a deserving cause. I wonder how much of the money, goods and so on has been stolen by the corrupt governments of the people it was intended to help?
The people, high or low level, who were behind this atrocity should be publicly executed in front of those who lost loved ones. Bleeding hearts and do-gooders should keep their mouths shut because they are only giving backing to this terrorism.
The perpetrators of these outrages should be smashed into oblivion. The world has enough woe with people supplying drugs. Our lives are slowly turning into torment and fear.
