CONTRARY to your report (September 14), the original Tang Hall Community Centre is to be rebuilt and is not going to be replaced by the very welcome building at St Aelred's Church, a project the centre's management committee has supported for a long time.
I reassure residents and others who have supported us since the fire that we hope to reopen the original community centre early next year which is, coincidentally, the centre's tenth anniversary.
