PULP are to play the Barbican Centre on November 21 in the biggest signing of the year at the York leisure centre.
Tickets for the 7.30pm concert went on sale this morning at £17.50 and are available from the Barbican box office on 01904 656688.
Pulp, the Sheffield band led by Jarvis Cocker, are best known for such hits as Common People, Sorted For E's And Wizz, Do You Remember The First Time and Help The Aged.
Their seventh album, Pulp, is to be released on the Island label in late October, preceded by the double A-sided single The Trees and Sunrise on October 15. This will be Pulp's first new material since the 1998 album This Is Hardcore.
The November 21 show will be their debut appearance at the Barbican.
