Nestl Rowntree began their Costcutter York Ladies League season in victorious style after comprehensively beating Danby 5-0.
After a bright start Danby were overwhelmed by Nestl's quick breaks, Janet Cordingley being player of the match. Scorers were Carol Carter, Vanessa Moore, Jane Markland (2) and Sue Yoward.
