FARMERS wishing to move stock from farm to farm for welfare, breeding and commercial purposes will be able to apply under the Autumn Licence Movement Scheme.
Application forms are available from DEFRA web site www.defra.gov.uk/footandmouth, by phone from ADAS on (01392) 314941, or from the new Trading Standards Licensing Centre at 4/5 Thornfield Business Park, Standard Way, Northallerton DL6 2XQ. The scheme to allow animals to be moved to slaughter is unaffected by the changes.
