A MULTIPLE crash at a notorious accident blackspot caused long delays for drivers on the A64 today.
Several cars are believed to have been involved in the crash on the westbound carriageway of the A64, near Bilbrough Top.
The accident happened at about 7.30am, near Colton Lane End, and brought rush-hour traffic on the busy road to a standstill.
One woman, believed to have a whiplash injury, was taken to York District Hospital.
But although injuries are not thought to be severe, the accident left motorists delayed for more than an hour.
