POLICE are urging witnesses to come forward after a 15-year-old boy was left seriously injured in a gang attack.
The boy, who has not been named, was set upon by a gang of youths on the forecourt of the Mill Lane Garage, in Heworth. The attack, which took place on September 14, left the boy with serious facial injuries needing extensive hospital treatment.
CCTV footage has revealed a group of youths were in the area at the time of the assault. Anyone who witnessed or has any information is asked to contact York Police on (01904) 631321.
