AISLABY United moved to third in the Beckett League division one with a 7-2 thrashing of Old Malton III in the only league game of the weekend.

Man-of-the-match Colin Frank hit a brace with Nicky Beaumont, Danny Lamb, Andrew Bayes, Scott Lawson and Kenny Temple also scoring. Sam Thackray scored both Old Malton's goals.

Rosedale continued their defence of the Ryedale Hospital Cup with a second round defeat of Sinnington.

Chris James (2), Ken Weatherill, John Tindal and Adam Burkinshaw scored in their 5-2 win, Paul Harland and debutant Mark Smith replying.

Duncombe Park won the all-division two clash against Pickering Royal Oak 3-0 thanks to Colin Gasgoigne (2) and substitute Brian Connor.

Super-sub James Dooks gave Slingsby a 2-1 win over Heslerton Reserves with the winner three minutes from time. Darren Dyer had put Slingsby ahead on 66 minutes with Dave Hornby equalising.

Kirkbymoorside Reserves hit six in the second half as they hammered Thornton-le-Dale 7-0.

The marksmen were substitute Stephen Robertshaw (2), Nick Hodgson, Dan Broadbent, Andrew Wilkinson, Gary Murphy and an own goal. William Balderson and Richard Swiers went close for Dale.

Ampleforth gave up home advantage to Union Rovers as their pitch was waterlogged, and lost 6-1.

Andy Piercy hit his first hat-trick of the season, with Brian Shepherd (2) and Jamie Wilkinson also scoring. Kevin Wright replied.

Black Swan, Pickering switched their game with Old Red House to Thirsk and won 10-1 with goals by Simon Dale (3), Steven Sailes (2), Chris Weighell, Jimmy Blacklock, Nick Wilkinson, Mark Ainsworth and Matty Cass.

Kirkdale United versus Amotherby and Swinton was postponed due to an unfit pitch.
