YORK City are sweating on the fitness of striker Lee Nogan ahead of tomorrow's clash.

The former Darlington front-man has missed the last two outings with a calf strain, but trained yesterday and was due to train again today. That could put him in contention for a recall should he show no adverse reaction.

However manager Terry Dolan indicated even if Nogan is available he is likely to stick by the same starting line-up that beat Reading 2-0 in the FA Cup with Nogan having to be content with a place on the bench.

Dolan said: "We are hoping Lee will be fit but whether he will start is another matter.

"He trained yesterday and was going to train again today so we will see how he goes.

"If he is fit he may start on the bench. We have got five games coming up very quickly and we want everyone available.

"The team will probably be the same as last Saturday. There is no need to change it and so by putting Lee on the bench if we don't have to use him it gives him more time to rest."
