THE lengths some people will go to to attract the attention of Christmas shoppers.
Sam Barnett, who is said to have the longest inside leg measurement of any model in Britain, gave customers a few ideas for seasonal stocking fillers when she took part in a promotional event for Aristoc tights.
She stood alongside the regular window mannequins in Browns department store, York, where menswear assistant Mike Brooks checked her measurements.
Gail Longford, UK marketing manager for Aristoc, said Sam had also showed customers inside the store the latest in hosiery fashions.
Gail said this year's big hit had to be fishnets, their popularity boosted by Moulin Rouge, the hit film starring Nicole Kidman.
The other seasonal favourite was proving to be "control products" which Gail said were "the type of things you can wear to get into your clothes for Christmas".
