SESSIONS 'A' team have a commanding lead at the top of Focus Fireplaces York and District Table Tennis League division one over second-placed Fulford Road WMC 'A'. Sessions 'A' thrashed Bootham Conservative Club 'B' 9-1, with Chris Nichols and Mick Wilcockson each scoring three wins.

Graham Hatfield scored three wins as Fulford Road WMC 'A' team played well to beat York RI 'A'.

Fulford Road WMC 'A' had earlier beaten Bootham Conservative Club 'B' 8-2, John Farmery scoring three wins.

Mick Wadsworth scored three wins for Boothem Conservative Club 'A' team in their 5-5 draw with Coneysthorpe 'B'.

Paul Creswell was unbeaten for Coneysthorpe 'B' as they managed a 5-5 draw with INL 'A'.

INL 'B' now look doomed to be relegated to division two at the end of the season. They went down 7-3 to Bootham Conservative Club 'A', Wadsworth again scoring three wins for Bootham Conservatives.

Dave Rawlings scored three wins for division two leaders Poppleton 'B' in a 5-5 draw with BT 'A'.

Sessions 'B', in second place in division two, beat Fulford Road WMC 'B'. Keith Elsegood played well for Sessions to scored three wins including a 9-21 21-17 21-10 victory over Ed Wardman.

Martin Symons' three wins were not enough to stop his team, INL 'C', going down 4-6 to Nestl Rowntree 'A'. Adam Exley and Richard Ingleby scored three wins each as Bootham Conservative Club 'C' trounced York RI 'D' 9-1.

Chris Armstrong and Jack Kyprian were unbeaten for division three leaders Poppleton 'C' in a 7-3 victory over their 'E' team.

BT 'B', in second place, won a close match with Poppleton 'D' 6-4, Brian Milner scoring three wins for BT.

Three wins for Jim Logan helped Terry's to a 7-3 success over Bootham Conservative Club 'D'.

John Foxton and Malcolm Haswell each won three as Coneysthorpe 'C' beat Terry's 8-2.

Gary Neads scored three wins for Shepherd's 'A' but Fulford WMC 'C' fought back from 5-2 down to draw 5-5.

York RI 'F', who lead division four, beat York RI 'I' 8-2 with 13 year old Steve Robinson scoring three wins.

Nestl Rowntree 'C', in second place, overwhelmed York RI 'H' 9-1. Peter Thompson and Richard Falkingham each scored three wins.
