ON behalf of the members of The Rotary Club of York Ainsty my thanks go to all those readers who supported, and gave so generously to, our Christmas collection when Santa and his helpers visited the York suburbs recently.
A total of £4,300 was raised, our best ever, and this will ultimately benefit the many local, national and international charities which are supported by Rotary. Finally, a very merry Christmas and, above all, a peaceful New Year to all Press readers.
