FORMER shipmates from across York and North and East Yorkshire who spent their National Service in the Navy are being invited to a major reunion.
The inaugural meeting of the National Service (Royal Navy) Association will take place at 9.30am on Saturday, March 9, on Hayling Island, on the south coast, during a social weekend reunion for hundreds of ex-Royal Navy personnel.
