The funeral of York local football stalwart Ernie Fairclough, who died on Sunday, aged 80, will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel, Gillygate, York, on Monday, March 4.
All York and Leeper Hare League clubs have been asked to observe a minute's silence before this Saturday's games in memory of Mr Fairclough.
