BLACK Swan, Pickering reached the final of the Scarborough and District FA Junior Cup for the first-ever time thanks to a single-goal victory over Ayton.
Black Swan, champions of the RJF Homes Beckett League, saw off their Scarborough and District League second division side courtesy of a Steve Sailes header from a Paul Mann cross.
Ayton had earlier hit the bar and were denied by a fine David Stur-gess save, while Rob Kerr and Ainsworth went close at the other end. Mann also hit the post.
