Civil Service Cricket Club are looking for new players, scorers and umpires for the upcoming season. Nets start on Monday, March 11, at Mount School, 6pm to 7pm. Anyone interested should ring Andrew Tessier on 01904 339239.
Acomb have also started indoor nets and will continue for the next three Mondays at the Mount School from 8pm to 9.30pm.
There will be an Acomb players' pre-season meeting on Wednesday, March 20, in the clubhouse.
Acomb run three senior and three junior teams and anyone wishing to join should contact secretary Tony Haines on 01904 330787.
