PRINCESS Anne knows the value of the St John Ambulance Service. The medical volunteers attend both royal occasions and the show jumping events the princess so enjoys.
She gave her full backing to the St John service at Bishopthorpe Palace last night. Her morale-boosting visit is also the perfect opportunity to remind readers that we need your help for our own Evening Press Life Savers appeal, to buy a new, fully equipped St John Ambulance.
