THE next stage of chairman John Batchelor's plans to make York City the most interesting club in the league have been unveiled.
The Minstermen supremo is planning a huge overhaul of the match day experience, while York City Ladies will be integrated within the club.
From the start of next season, home and away fans at Bootham Crescent will be treated to a lively atmosphere at club - with City supporters having the chance to win top prizes such as a car or £1,000.
Minster FM breakfast show presenter James Watt will provide pre-match entertainment, while at half-time, there where be a penalty shoot-out with a difference competition, where City fans will attempt to win a car or the cash.
Meanwhile, having had only a minimal link with the club previously, City Ladies will now come under the Minstermen umbrella, with plans afoot to see them eventually competing with the likes of Arsenal and Fulham.
Batchelor and York City will now offer the ladies, who will play out of Bootham Crescent, more financial security with the ultimate aim to see the side run as a professional outfit.
