YORK Cricket Club will take their buoyant mood into their home clash against the all-conquering Sheffield Collegiate tomorrow.

While one swallow doesn't make a summer, last Saturday's controlled victory over Driffield will have given the Clifton Park side plenty to be positive about.

But having won both the league and the National Championship last season and guided by former Yorkshire and Middlesex batsman Richard Kettleborough, Collegiate will pose York their biggest test.

Skipper Nigel Durham is away at a wedding, so is replaced by John McGrady.

On Sunday, York will look to complete their National Knockout Cup first round fixture against Beverley, after the first attempt was washed out.

Durham will return for the clash, with Richard Carroll and Stephen Piercy added to the squad as Robert Flack is unavailable and Australian Nash Stone does not qualify.
