NESTL Rowntree have opted to bring a few old faces back as they look to celebrate the club's final-ever West Yorkshire League match against premier division rivals in style, writes Tony Curtis.
Tomorrow's line-up will see John Reynolds, cousin of the side's assistant-boss Jon, Matty Wain, Andy Cox and Rob Ellis added to the squad for manager Jim Collis' swan-song.
The side will fold due to financial reasons after the game and although Nestl will continue to run its York and District League teams, Collis has decided to pack in the game altogether.
"It will be a very sad for the team," said Jon Reynolds. "We've brought back one or two old faces back to mark the day.
"Hopefully we can go out in style then have one or two beers afterwards."
The match will kick-off at 2.30pm after a move to bring the kick-off forward was spiked because Leeds United Ladies have an earlier fixture on the same pitch.
Nestl Rowntree (v Aberford Abion, meet Ainstry at 1.15pm): Reynolds, Hirst, Ellis, Dewhirst, Cowl, Rayner, Durkin, Bond, Terry, Ward, Kilner, Morton, Wain, Cox, Keysoe.
