SOMETHING old met something new when TV actress Joanne Froggatt stopped to open up a Ryedale business.
Joanne took time out of her celebrity lifestyle to help out big brother Daniel, who has just opened up Antique and Collector's Corner in Southgate, Pickering.
The 25-year-old antiques dealer has gone into business with stamp, coin and postcard dealer Peter Bowley, and called on his little sister to add some celebrity sparkly to cut the ribbon. Joanne has played Zoe Tattersall in Coronation Street, David Jason's daughter in A Touch of Frost, and appeared in Victoria Wood's comedy Dinner Ladies. She is set to hit the small screen this month alongside Neil Morrissey in a new BBC comedy drama, Paradise Heights.
