A printing firm from Bishop Wilton have posted up their support for the forthcoming WaspAid 2002 music event - and that support can be seen all around York.

Another Fine Mesh have printed off 200 posters free of charge to help advertise the fund-raising gig, the proceeds of which will go to the campaign to resurrect a professional rugby league club in York. And these posters have gone up in pubs and clubs across the city.

WaspAid will see 20 up and coming local bands play at York's Barbican Centre on Saturday, June 1, in what will be biggest multi-band concert in the city.

Coincidentally enough, the owner of Another Fine Mesh, John Burrows, is himself a jazz musician.

Tickets for WaspAid (£5-£5.50) can be bought from the Barbican box office (tel 01904 656688) and will be available on the night.
