CHILDREN and parents at Forest of Galtres Anglican/Methodist Primary School at Shipton-by-Beningbrough have said goodbye to head teacher Mark Poole.
Mr Poole, who has been at Shipton, near York, for four-and-a-half years, is moving on to become a general primary adviser inspector for North Yorkshire County Council after the half-term break.
Mr Poole was previously deputy head at Skelton Primary in York.
Lou O'Brien will be acting head for the rest of the term, and a new head will start in September.
