EVEN the Queen is congratulating Betty and Jim Neal on their 64th wedding anniversary.
The thrilled couple received a card from Her Majesty as they celebrated another milestone in their marriage.
Married at St Lawrence's Church, on August 20, 1938, the York couple have lived in the same Tang Hall house all their married lives.
Jim, 95, worked at R Johnston&Sons, in Piccadilly, his entire working life. He retired at 68.
During the Second World War, Jim served in the RAF at ground stations across the country. Betty worked in newspaper distribution.
The couple have two children, Tony and Carol, and four grand-daughters.
Tony said: "They met at a dance. 64 years is a long time. They argue plenty but they still seem to bounce off each other. They were delighted to receive a card from the Queen. It arrived from Buckingham Palace and contained a personal message. They are both hoping for many more wonderful years."
