FIFTH Avenue, York, rarely throngs with the rich and famous like its New York namesake. And its nightlife might be that little bit more sedate.
Who cares? Certainly not resident Irene Stoner, regular recipient of the Big Apple's mail deliveries.
Imagine living in a street where, on a single morning, you might bump into Michael Jackson, Donald Trump and Mickey Rooney - all guests at Liza Minnelli's Fifth Avenue wedding this year. That is nothing short of a nightmare in the city that never sleeps.
We will take Tang Hall any day. Far more restful.
