SOME like it hot. That was certainly true for Marilyn Monroe look-alike Suzie Kennedy who breezed into York to open a prestigious new housing development on the city's riverside.
She helped the Lord Mayor, Coun David Horton, unveil Bryant Homes's successful Westgate building - dubbed the New York of York.
On that theme, celebrity lookalikes teamed up with Bryant to give homebuyers their first chance to look inside the £27 million stunning seven-storey building.
The building incorporates a collection of 114 luxury apartments - only one is left - a central glass atrium and a water feature. Prices start at £120,000.
A Bryant Homes spokeswoman said: "This was all about the success of Westgate. Sales have been phenomenal.
"The first buyers will be moving in shortly and Bryant Homes has worked hard to take a derelict brownfield site and make it visually stunning."
