WHEN we voted for the Common Market we voted, as we were told, for better trade between UK and Common Market countries.
We have been deceived.
Britain had special trade links with the Commonwealth and with the USA. The UK used to have the largest fishing fleet, the most coal and the biggest oil reserves in Europe.
Joining the Common Market has certainly helped us to lose most of it.
I can only see the EEC as communism by the back door. This country is paying billions into the kitty to help lesser countries get more out of it.
Lastly, Britain is viewed by other EEC countries on the continent as an out-flung island where refugees can be sent - out of sight out of mind.
